One of the most famous festivals dedicated to Bastet was the Feast of Bastet, held in the city of Bubastis. During this festival, people would gather to celebrate the goddess and to make offerings of cats. The festival was known for its revelry and excess, with people often drinking to excess and engaging in other forms of debauchery.
